It's those incredibly beautiful moments and places thriving within a much larger, stronger place or time that I really hold close. It's the calm in the chaos, the rose among the thorns, the whimsical gated park nestled in a big city, or the homey little blog in the middle of the monstrous Internet.
Welcome to that blog -- that's written a few blocks from that gated park-- Gramercy Park.
I'm Molly. I'm a twenty-something, small town, country girl figuring out life in the big New York City. I'm a hopeless creative. I wish I could be paid to manage my Pinterest account or curate a children's line of home furnishings and decor-- perhaps that's the goal, not a wish! I'm a lover of all things design, a dreamer of opportunities to create, and a believer of finding inspiration in the 'every day'. I drink entirely too much coffee, but I think that may be what fuels the aforementioned characteristics. Less time sleeping is more time thinking, creating, designing, imagining, living.
I created Meet Me in Gramercy (name courtesy of Jackie! see update on her below) to be a place where I can share my ramblings and ideas as well as what inspires me and what will in turn hopefully inspire you. I have found many blogs on the World Wide Web that have become a breath of fresh air to me. They have been places where I go when I am thirsty for beautiful places, beautiful people, beautiful things. If Meet Me in Gramercy becomes a place like that for you, then welcome and I look forward to the fun times we will have together! If not, that's okay, thanks for coming by but if you ever want to check back in you know where you can find me, just Meet Me in Gramercy.

Already an update! This blog was originally going to be the baby of my best friend/roommate Jackie and me, however with opposite work and school schedules we never could find the time to sit down and blog together. I was anxious to get blogging so here it is, but because I love Jackie to pieces and know that she was excited to blog as well, don't be surprised when she's dropping by to guest blog, showing up in basically all of the pictures, and mentioned at least three times a post. When life slows down a little (does that ever happen?) Jackie will hopefully be blogging more and more. Love you Jack!
