Do you ever find yourself needing a change of scenery, a change of pace, or a chance to breathe in some serious fresh air? That's a perfect description of what I need right now. As the weather here in the city is starting to cool down (thank goodness!) but not lacking in beautiful sunshine in the least, the past couple days have been the ever needed reminder that fall is on its way! Fall is my absolute favorite season. I wish there was a word that described that feeling of taking the crisp fall air in through your nose and feeling it rejuvenate your body from your head to toes. Or how about the ability to actually do your hair in the morning and know that by the time you walk across town it won't be another puffy victim of humidity?
If there were a place that was quintessential fall all year round, you can bet that that's where you would find me. But as fall is slowly making its presence here in New York, I can't help but think about this time of year back home in the PA mountains -- even better than it is here. So as I make plans to head home and bask in prime country fall-ness, take a hike, or bake tons and tons of recipes filled with pumpkin, I hope you take time to enjoy the fall weather wherever you may be too!
